We
extend a very
warm welcome to our home and B&B in the quiet and long
established suburb of
Bayswater. Whether you
are fellow kiwis or visiting New Zealand from overseas, on holiday or
business, we look
forward to ensuring you enjoy our homestay-style bed and breakfast
accommodation
in the near future.
Our 2 level house is very modern, being only 4 years old. It
is
warm, sunny and comfortable and has all the 'mod cons'.
Bayswater
is
situated on the North Shore in Auckland between Takapuna and Devonport
and is a quiet, long established suburb. Restaurants and shopping in
Devonport Village or Takapuna Beach city centre are
just a
5-10 minute drive away. A 10-minute-trip ferry service to Downtown
Auckland runs regularly from the marina which is a short 10 minute walk
down to the end of our road. We are also on the bus route. Auckland
City Centre is about a 12-15 minute drive from here (as long as you
don't get
caught up in traffic!) and the motorway, heading north or south, is
about a 5-10 minute drive away. We offer courtesy pick-up and drop-off
to the ferry and other local areas by arrangement.
We
currently have one upstairs bedroom available with a queen size bed,
a private bathroom and own separate sitting
room with TV, DVD player and tea & coffee making
facilities. You are also welcome
to join us in the lounge downstairs to watch TV, listen to music
or
just chat. You may like to relax out on the patio in the
private
garden or enjoy a soak in our redwood hot-tub spa. A generous
continental breakfast is served downstairs, or upstairs
if you
prefer. A full cooked breakfast is available at a reasonable
extra cost.
